Cheaper and faster internet – new agreement starts 9 December

We have signed a new agreement with Telia that provides faster internet and a significantly lower cost for all residents. Read more about how the change works and what you need to do.

We in the board have some great news. On 9 December, we will switch to a new group agreement with Telia that gives all residents both faster internet and a significantly lower cost compared to our previous contract. We are very pleased to present a solution that improves the services while also reducing our shared expenses.

Under the new agreement, all households will receive: 
  • 1000/1000 Mbit/s broadband
  • Telia TV & Streaming Lagom
  • Broadband telephony (optional to use)

At the same time, the monthly cost will be reduced considerably, from the previous 254 SEK per month down to 109 SEK per month. The new cost will appear on your monthly fee invoice starting January 2026, since these collective services are included in the regular association fee.

The services will be activated gradually throughout the day on 9 December and will be available to all households no later than 18.00. For the TV service to continue working after the switch, each household needs to activate their services with Telia.

If you already use Telia’s router, you may keep it as usual. However, if you want to take full advantage of the new higher speeds, Telia offers free home delivery of a new router. If you use a Telia TV box, it will need to be replaced after the service switch on 9 December.

Please note that you will only be able to order new routers and TV boxes once the new agreement is active from 9 December. Until then, neither Mitt Telia nor Telia’s customer service has access to the updated agreement, and the hardware ordering flow will not be available.

Once the agreement is active, simply log in to Mitt Telia. Under Your subscriptions, a new section called “Hårdvara” will appear. Click this to order a new TV box and, if needed, a new router.

What do I need to do as a resident?

1. Activate your services

To make sure your TV service continues to work after the change, you need to activate it and receive your new login details. Go to telia.se/aktivera and follow the instructions.You can also log in at telia.se/mitt-telia. If “TV” appears under Your subscriptions, you are already done.

It is important that the TV service is activated on your personal ID number, as this is required in order to order a new TV box if you need one. Please activate the service ahead of 9 December to ensure a smooth transition.

2. Order equipment (if needed)

You may continue using your current Telia router if it works well.If you want maximum speed or need new equipment, you can easily order it through My Pages at telia.se. All equipment is delivered to your home free of charge.

3. For those using Telia’s TV box

If you use a Telia TV box to watch TV, it will need to be replaced after 9 December in order to keep working. The box is ordered the same way via My Pages.

Frequently asked questions

When will the services be activated?

On 9 December. The services will become available gradually and everything should be up and running by 18.00.

Do I need to do anything?

Yes – you need to activate your services at telia.se/aktivera. If you log in to telia.se/mitt-telia and see “TV” under your subscriptions, you are already done.

Do I need to replace my router?

No, not if your current router works well. But if you want maximum speed, you can order a new one free of charge through My Pages.

What about the TV box?

Households using a Telia TV box will need to replace it after 9 December. Order it via My Pages.

What happens to the equipment we already have?

You keep the equipment you currently use, unless something else has been agreed.
